Welcome to
ProDev Associates, Ltd.
Our consulting practices span a variety of
subjects, from professional development planning for early and
after-school youth workers, to community health services planning
and project development, to issue briefs for social service program
areas to workforce and economic development. This work flows
from some 35 years of combined engagement in the central Indiana
region by David and Doreen Weinschrott. Starting in dissimilar
specialties (economics and early education) our work has converged
and re-converged so that we share many of the same skills,
complement each other in other skills and together have worked with
many community partners.
More specifically, the scope of our
services fall into these major categories:

The prosperity of local economies is a
"mixed bag" across the nation both in terms of performance as
well as forms of analysis. All states and regions are engaged in
radical economic structuring, with some job categories swallowed
up in the dynamics of globalization; new categories are emerging
in in arenas such as BioTech and Advanced Manufacturing. What
metrics are useful in the identification of these trends, and
more importantly in policies that foster faster growth? |
